Why did you choose to attend WVU?
I chose to attend WVU because it offered many opportunities for hands-on experience. When I first toured the College of Creative Arts, I saw everyone in action, as they prepared for the next show. Seeing the collaborative process was what sparked my decision to attend WVU.

What do you like about your major and your WVU experience?
What I like most about my major is how tight-knit we all are. Everyone knows everyone, and everyone is comfortable communicating their ideas and collaborating with each other.

What advice would you give to prospective students considering attending WVU's College of Creative Arts?
If I could give advice to any prospective students I would say, be excited to learn outside of your comfort zone. The BFA program teaches you a variety of aspects in technical theatre, not just your specific focus, so be prepared to learn some new skills.

Have you recently received any awards or scholarships? Have you recently participated in any competitions, productions, performances or exhibitions?
During my application process, I received a scholarship to the Theatre and Dance program from the Freddy Awards, which is an awards ceremony for the High School theatres in my hometown.
I have participated in many of the recent productions, some as fulfillment for practicum credit, for classes, or purely for the experience. I most recently was the production electrician for Measure for Measure, where I got to manage a team of electricians and plan and organize the load-in process in a grid space.
