Why did you choose to attend WVU?
I really wanted to expand my horizons and put myself in another state to be my own person. I also admired the dance program and after having my interview with Yoav, I knew I wanted to come here.
What do you like about your major and your WVU experience?
The dance program gives us the room to grow and develop into our own dancer. They offer technique and electives but these aren't your normal classes. In ballet we explore contemporary movement and in jazz we could go from the 30s to present day. The professors really bring the program alive and I am thankful for them.
What advice would you give to prospective students considering attending WVU's College of Creative Arts?
This is the best program anyone could be a part of. Being a minor in theater, I also spend time in the CAC and see puppetry, costumes, listen to students sing or play instruments, and watch plays; everyone is very talented in their fields. Even the people who want to try new things. The possibilities are endless and everyone is so friendly and nice. Being part of this community will make you sure about anything.
