Why did you choose to attend WVU?

I transferred to WVU to continue my studies in Music Industry. The program offers something that you can't find at many other universities, if any. I was looking for a university where I felt like I was a part of something bigger. WVU gives me the community I want while my studies give me the growth and challenge I was searching for.

What do you like about your major and your WVU experience?

Professor Velichkovski has created such a unique, hands-on program for students who want to pursue a career in any facet of the industry. While we're taking classes and learning, we're given the opportunity to be entrepreneurs and run Mon Hills Records, our on-campus record label. It lets us apply what we're learning in real-time, seeing the power and product in what we can do both musically and entrepreneurially. It's been incredibly rewarding.

What advice would you give to prospective students considering attending WVU's College of Creative Arts?

For those considering a Music Industry career path, look no further than WVU. Our program makes a unique program accessible, with fantastic faculty offering support and insight with your education and experience at the forefront.
