I transferred after studying abroad to be closer to home.

What is your profession now?

Trademark and copyright attorney at Fish & Richardson PC.

What is your most interesting current/upcoming project?

I handle the global trademark portfolios for a large company in the clean beauty industry that is always providing interesting projects, including acquiring rights from a prior trademark registrant in China so that my client can execute a licensing deal with Sephora in Asia.

How do you feel WVU and the College of Creative Arts prepared you for your career?

The professors in the Art History program were amazing. Having polished, intelligent, motivational women leading the classes and programs was invaluable. They taught us concrete skills in research, writing, and presenting that served me well in law school and in my career.

If you could give one piece of advice to incoming or current students in WVU's College of Creative Arts, what would it be?

Show up to class, put in the work, and enjoy it.
