Why did you choose to attend WVU?
It was an opportunity pointed out to me by Dr. Duangruthai (my piano lesson professor at Mahidol University). She graduated with a Doctoral degree as a student of Dr. Peter Amstutz. Dr. Amstutz also heard and saw my recording of some pieces I played while I was studying at Mahidol. It was at that time that my family and professors suggested that I gain music experience abroad. Moreover, I also happily appreciated the scholarship that I received in the fall of 2021 (the first semester I transferred to WVU) until now. It was a wonderful opportunity with everything here for me.

What do you like about your major and your WVU experience?
My experience at WVU has been nothing but high standard and professional. All of the courses, materials, classrooms, practice rooms, and even the building environment has been perfect.

For my major, I have stayed with it since I was 4 years old, so the piano is like another 33rd organ for me. When I did the first lesson with the Dr. Amstutz here at WVU, it was more than amazing. He is really nice, calm, and I would say the best professor for me. So, I feel like I have seen an improvement in the music I play every single day as well as lecture classes, the online course I take, etc.

What advice would you give to prospective students considering attending WVU's College of Creative Arts?
The College of Creative Arts is a school that you would think mainly focuses on art and music. However, you learn more than that. You will learn life management, have a professional learning environment, have the connection of technology with music and lectures, and learn new ways to express yourself and be yourself as you want. This is the real meaning of art within our general life and daily routine because art is not just the subject, course, department, or college, but how you express yourself in your day to day. If you can express yourself in your own way, that is real definition of art, and you will get that here at WVU's College of Creative Arts!

Additionally, homesickness is a normal thing and it happens for the international students. But, when I get into the CCAC building, the homesickness never happened for me because of the wonderful environment here.

Have you recently received any awards or scholarships? Have you recently participated in any competitions, productions, performances or exhibitions?
As I said above, I received a scholarship from WVU in the Fall of 2021 until Spring 2022, and also this semester Fall 2022 and I really appreciated that.

Additionally, in Grade 11 (M.5), I had a chance to register for the Musical Theater minor and had a chance to participate as one of the "Shark" roles in West Side Story (school edition) with the Young Artist Music Program, College of Music, Mahidol University production teams. Moreover, I also had different roles other than the piano part which included acting in different concerts.

I entered the Yamaha Thailand Music Festival. They had opportunities to go to international competitions, both domestic and abroad. For domestic competitions, I competed three times in the SET Youth Music Competition. The first time, I received certificate of participation, the second time I received the 4th prize, and in 2019 I received the 2nd prize. I also competed in the Beethoven and Mozart International Music Competition. For abroad competitions, I competed in Chopin International Music Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where I received certificate of participation. I also competed in the Osaka International Music Competition twice where I received 1st prize in the high school category and the Cecilia International Music Competition in Tokyo, Japan where I received the 2nd prize.
