College of Creative arts adds Assistant Director of Development

Mary Esposito

The West Virginia University College of Creative Arts welcomes Mary Esposito to the staff as assistant director of development.

Esposito brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team from her nine years of employment at the WVU Foundation, where she oversaw annual giving programs including WVU Day of Giving, Women of WVU and Gold Blue and You Faculty and Staff Campus Campaign. She also worked with units all across campus on their annual giving solicitations – including the College of Creative Arts.

“Mary is a long-time friend of the college and we are excited to have her join the CCA family,” said Dean Keith Jackson.

In her new role, Esposito will work with Director of Development Jennifer Jordan, focusing on annual giving and leadership annual giving fundraising.

“I will be engaging with our alumni, friends and donors to help them find ways they can support the College that is meaningful to them,” Esposito said. “There are so many wonderful programs at the College of Creative Arts and I’m excited to work for a college that provides such great programming and culture to the community.”

Esposito graduated from WVU in 2009 with a degree in public relations. She was named to The State Journal’s 2020 Class of Generation Next: 40 under 40.

“Adding Mary’s experience and vision to the college will allow us to further the current and future goals of the College of Creative Arts,” Jackson said. “In combination with Jennifer, we now have a development team that will help us reach our potential in this critical area.”
