The Music Industry Program Director at West Virginia University will take the stage twice during the annual United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship Conference in New Orleans in January 2020.

Darko Velichkovski will present “Artists Management Course – A Method Approach” and “University Record Label as Experiential and Interdisciplinary Co-Curricular Entrepreneurship Platform.”

“I am honored and excited to have two of my works in the arts entrepreneurship education field chosen for presentation at the 2020 annual USASBE conference, and am looking forward to presenting those works,” Velichkovski said.

USASBE is the largest independent academic organization in the world dedicated to advancing the discipline of entrepreneurship. It represents more than 430 colleges and universities across the United States and around the globe as the network advancing the art of entrepreneurship education.

“I am grateful that USASBE members and leadership support and recognize the importance of arts entrepreneurship education as a significant and distinct part of the entrepreneurship education field, which we at WVU’s College of Creative Arts value and champion as a necessary and integral aspect of all the arts,” Velichkovski said.

In addition to being the Director of the Music Industry Program, Mon Hills Records, and Arts Entrepreneurship Studio at the College of Creative Arts, Velichkovski is also a member of the founding cohort of WVU IDEA Faculty Fellows chosen by the Provost’s Office, and works closely with WVU IDEA Hub network and administration.
