Why did you choose to attend WVU?

As I was conducting my college search, I had several criteria that were really important to me. I was looking for a program where I could get a Bachelor of Fine Arts which not every university offers. I wanted my college experience to be in a real college town. I didn't want to attend a small college. WVU fit the bill for every criteria I had.

What do you like about your major and your WVU experience?

The professors in my major are very knowledgeable and make a point of bringing in real-world experiences to the students. The program really puts you into a world where you can learn and grow. It has been an eye opening experience. WVU has a great community of diverse people, lots of activities, and plenty of excursions in the area.

What advice would you give to prospective students considering attending WVU’s College of Creative Arts?

Look at the big picture. Does the university you are considering have a vibrant student community? Are the professors invested in making you succeed? Will they prepare you for the next step in your life? The College of Creative Arts has a creative energy to it that will elevate your craft and allow you to hone your skills.
