Guest artist Harmonic Brass brings ‘Delicacies’ to WVU

The West Virginia University School of Music will welcome Harmonic Brass to the Creative Arts Center on Monday, October 9.

Since 1991, Harmonic Brass has been renowned for big elegant brass sound. New York Carnegie Hall, Seoul Arts Center, Leipzig Gewandhaus are some of the premiere locations that Harmonic Brass have been welcomed. The group travels around the globe playing more than 120 concerts a year.

The musicians of Harmonic Brass have been working on and rehearsing their newest program, “Delicacies,” that they will proudly present to American audiences on their 2017 East Coast Tour. The music is related to food and drink, and the quintet turns into first-class chefs to deliver music equal to a 5-star menu.

The program begins at 6 p.m. in Bloch Hall at the Creative Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public.
