Make a difference for West Virginia Public Theatre

WVPTA labor of love.

That's what West Virginia Public Theatre has been for me. Through a partnership with the College of Creative Arts, I became the President of the West Virginia Public Theatre Board of Directors in December of 2015. It’s been a labor of love for me, and I am writing to ask for your help.

Love for theatre. Love for the arts. And love for community. I know you, better than most, understand this.

WVPT
West Virginia Public Theatre is seeking to raise $5,000 in support of the 2017 summer season. This summer, with your support, WVPT will feature three dynamic productions - Young Frankenstein, Sylvia and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. These three productions satisfy a couple of important goals. First, it allows the students of the College of Creative Arts School of Theatre & Dance to be exposed to professional actors, immersing them in any number of productions by which they can find they their skill set, inspiration and professional mentor, through a local theatre company. Second, this program brings quality theatre to north central West Virginia in a manner by which we serve students, the public and our patrons. It is intentional that two of the three summer productions are particularly appropriate for younger audiences, affording us the opportunity to reach schoolchildren across the region in a meaningful way with arts programming - programming that they would not experience otherwise.

Will you consider a donation today? Your donation of any amount will help keep community theatre alive in Morgantown. This partnership - and the theatre productions it fosters - are priceless to this community.

Will you join me in making the 2017 West Virginia Public Theatre summer season the best yet?

We're counting on you.

Sincerely,
Paul Kreider
Dean, College of Creative Arts
