MonRiver New Horizons Band engages adults who want to learn music

The MonRiver New Horizons Band motto, “It’s never too late,” means that one is never too old to make music. MonRiver New Horizons Band members are adults of all ages who once played band instruments, but did not continue later in life or those who want to learn.

Membership is open to all interested adults, with no auditions or tryouts, just a desire to make music. Although many New Horizons bands accept only seniors, the MonRiver New Horizons Band is open to adults of any age and experience level.

Co me out the Mountaineer Mall on August 16 from 3:00-5:00 or 6:00-8:00 to learn about how you can become a part of the MonRiver New Horizons Band.

The director, Dr. Lindsey Williams, will be there to speak with you, let you try or “reintroduce” you to an instrument and get you all the information you need to become of part of something special…A chance to make music with others!

Our group will begin meeting on Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 13, from 1:00-2:50 at the  M ountaineer Mall.

If you have any questions or you are unable to make one of the sessions on August 16, please contact our director:
